Q9550 Stepping E0 - Wrong temperatures!

Post by CoreTemp-User080 »

Hello!

I have a Q9550 E0, Gigabyte P35-DS3 (latest BIOS), 4GB, WinXP 32bit.

Running Coretemp 0.99.3 it schows me a wrong temperature for Core 2. Other Tools like hwmonitor do this also. This one is up to 13 Degrees Celsius higher than the other ones. Core 3 shows always a min temperature of 42°C, raising if the other cores get hot enough (>42°C).
Is this the DTS Bug or a problem with prperly detecting of the new E0 Stepping?

Can anybody confirm this or know anything about this problem? Would be happy to hear from C1/E0 Users...

Is a DTS Problem a defective Processor? Shoukd I change it if I can??

Edit:
Okay, seems to be the DTS Problem. ALL 4 damn Sensors are affected. They stop falling down at 42,29,29,21 °C. Intel you really suck!
