Delete old version of Core Temp

I have Core Temp (version .98.1) in my download files and in quick launch.
I wish to upgrade to .99 version, but "there is another version" message will not allow download. I have attempted to delete the .98.1 version, but have been unable to delete same. Any Suggestions ???
