Core Temp 0.96 and 0.96.1 logging problem

Post by AgentGOD »

These both try to create/append to a log file even with logging disabled.

This prevents them from working on my BartPE CD (which is obviously read-only).

I know the work-around would be making an SFX and run it from a %temp% folder, but that's impractical if I had to do that for every program.

I consider this a bug.

Thanks for your work though, Arthur. I will stick with 0.95.1 on my BartPE CD (for now), because it can disable logging fine.

This is an interesting point, I never thought about this when I enabled the logging.
I wouldn't consider this a bug but I may add an extra option to disable the logging file completely.
Thanks for the heads up on this matter.
