Core Temp is reporting my CPU as a QX6700 (Kentsfield) instead of a QX6800 (Kentsfield), which is what I purchased.

CPU-Z and most other programs are either showing it as a QX6800 or an Intel Quad Core @ 2.93Ghz.

BTW, it is O/C'ed to 3.2Ghz.

Since there is a couple hundred dollar price difference, I sure as heck hope that this is a bug in CoreTemp, and that I didn't get a QX6700 for the price of a 6800.

Its most likely a bug with coretemp, New .95.3 and upcoming .96 should have updated detection, THough ill have to talk to the coolest to see if your cpu would be detected properly.
