Readings in Tray Not Visible

Post by Capt Proton »

Good Day
I am running version 0.95. It works well, but, where I should be seeing the temps in the system tray, all I can see is black boxes. It worked properly when I first installed it. Oddly, I noticed this just after my first .game crash ib C&C 3. Any ideas?

If you are asking if the acceleration is set to full, the answer is yes.

Yes. I have also tried downloading a fresh file and "Installing" that. What does the information icons use to function? Java?

b3rg, thank you for pointing out the solution.

It has helped me find the sourse of this problem and fix it.
The problem occured because I have made the systray icons be always drawn at 32bit color depth, when your desktop color depth is different, you get the black squares.
I made Core Temp detect the color depth before it (re)draws the icon and now it seems to work great at both 32bit and 16bit color depth at which I tested at.

In short, expect this bug to be eliminated in the next release. Thanks.
