Opteron 244 & AMD64 TcaseMax v1.18

Postby Guest » Thu Feb 09, 2006 10:41 am

Hi

Just info . . . I have tried running AMD64 TcaseMax v1.18 on a dual Opteron 244 system.

Opposite TCaseMax it reported "This CPU does not support TCaseMax feature". Does this make sense ?

Comparing the other data with CPU-Z, it all matches - except that the VCore on TcaseMax is reported as 1.500v, on CPU-Z it is reported as 1.520v and the core speeds differ - VERY slightly.

The reason I was trying to use TcaseMax is that MBM5 & SpeedFan 4.27 don't report any temperatures at all for this Chipset/CPU.

The motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-&A8DW, the sensor is a Winbond W83627HF.

Any ideas ?
