Re: Core Temp 1.1 - 1.7 - Driver failed to load
Hi The Coolest I believe the driver failed to load problem is limited to Asus products. Loads lot of different PC's in a month and only Asus motherboard Pc gives this error by me. All other work fine even with 1.81 but Asus boards all give driver load problem. Maybe it is hardware compatibility pro...

Microsoft does allow to load drivers in some situations, I guess in your specific case it works.

Re: Core Temp 1.1 - 1.7 - Driver failed to load
Well, my perspective on this is a little different. It's Microsoft's artificial limitation imposed on software developers. Core Temp still runs fine on all Windows 10 releases if that 'feature' of the OS is disabled. Also, up until a few years ago Core Temp even ran on Windows NT 3.51, but sadly af...

Re: Core Temp 1.7 BSOD - DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE
In the last week I added an external drive enclose connected via USB 3 to my main pc. Today I accepted some windows update (for Win 10 64bit), rebooted, updated coretemp to 1.7.0.0 at its request & my machine promptly blue screened with a DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9f). I rebooted & repeat...

Re: Core Temp 1.1 - 1.7 - Driver failed to load
After what seemed like an eternity and a lot of headaches and runabouts, I can finally say that my certificate is on its way. So I hope that within 2-4 weeks I should have it and be able to sign drivers in a way that Win10 will find acceptable. Hello The Coolest, With your latest version, I did not...

Re: After Win10 update, CoreTemp causes Windows CRASH
Hello, You can specify the version of W10 ? 1511 ... 1607 ... 1703 ? At the risk of deceiving me. I would say that the latest updates in W10 version 1607 have bugged your bike. That's what happened to me. (Asus X99-Deluxe / i7-5820K) Only this machine was impacted. Under W8.1 and W10 ... W7 OK No wo...

Re: After Win10 update, CoreTemp causes Windows CRASH
In 1.7 I added support for the HPET timer, and apparently on some systems the timer is not implemented as described in the specs. This made Core Temp access memory space allocated to something else, which would cause a BSOD or a system crash. The fix simply makes it work correctly on those systems....
