i have a 9700x about to upgrade to, just waiting on the board to arrive, where is this coretemp 1.19.4 from? the "almightly google" isnt helping..

1.0 rc8 says i7 6700k has a 95w TDP, but intel says 91w

will we ever get skylake support? is coretemp abandoned?

i would try it myself but intel decided to "launch" skylake having 5 cpus in stock to spread around the planet....

i upgraded my laptop to windows 10 pro x64 build 10240, i opened coretemp multiple times since & all was fine, then it started lagging/freezing the windows explorer, even after force closing coretemp, making me force shutdown the system by holding power button i found 60% of the time this happen...

Cause SpeedFan is wrong, Intel released the proper TjMax values over a year ago finally after much speculation. The remaining few that cry that even Intel is wrong with their product well then.. can whatever..

With CoreTemp 1.0 RC3 everything about my laptop's A8-3500M APU is correct except the bus speed, it is reporting it twice as high as it is. This bug was not present with 1.0 RC2. Nice progress with CoreTemp over the last year or so (since the last time I posted here), and I really like the min/max temp readouts. Keep up the good work.

Its self explainatory. This is for Core 2/AMD CPUs only, Netburst does not have a digital thermal sensor in their cores.

Steppings G0, M0, L2, B3 are all Tj max 100c, you have G0 stepping. 0.95 is old and was incorrect.
