Re: Correct Tjmax
Cause SpeedFan is wrong, Intel released the proper TjMax values over a year ago finally after much speculation. The remaining few that cry that even Intel is wrong with their product well then.. can whatever..

VID display for Nehalem processors & Suggestions
This was in CoreTemp before when it was updated for Nehalem support but why was it removed? Any blabber on the net about Nehalem "not having VIDs" is garbage just as much as "running 1.45v QPI/VTT is perfectly safe". Gigabyte boards show the stock VID for each multiplier thats in...

CoreTemp 1.0 RC3 incorrect bus speed with AMD A8-3500M
With CoreTemp 1.0 RC3 everything about my laptop's A8-3500M APU is correct except the bus speed, it is reporting it twice as high as it is. This bug was not present with 1.0 RC2. See screenshot: http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/aa367/gamerx1990/th_coretemp10rc3_llanosabine.png Register dump below...

Re: My Intel D915 Pressler is not an Intel processor
Its self explainatory. This is for Core 2/AMD CPUs only, Netburst does not have a digital thermal sensor in their cores.jeepers wrote:"This is not an Intel core Architecture based processor, the program will not continue"

Bug with 0.98 and a suggestion
Apperently when I disable logging a log file still gets created, I believe this bug has been here since 0.96. Any chance of fixing this in the next release? Is it also possible to add a thermal throttling watch (PROCHOT#) beside CPU useage (of coarse log file will show if it has throttled)? Example,...

An update on the battle over Tj max.. worth reading
I thought I'd say so here, for the hell of it. Who knows maybe some changes to CoreTemp will follow.. I know I said I was done with this as the devloper is heart set on the current Tj max values but I can't resist so here goes.. A few of us may be aware of the Core 2 Duo and Quad temp guide @ TomsHa...

Ugh.. ok iam done here. I gave proof after proof and some just don't get that these actually have a delta.. its the way they're built. I guess to some of you having your Tcase above the cores is correct... thats like saying the pot of water on the stove is hotter than the burner, or the air inside t...

Ok follow this portion of this guide , somethings not right and this should locate what the problem is, feel free to refer to the whole guide if you wish, its how I learned how to properly read C2D and quad temps and first noticed CoreTemp 0.95.4 was wrong: Section 9: Calibrations The purpose of the...
