Re: HWInfo Per CCD temperature.
BTW: I have to also report that each time Coretemp opens the icons aren't in oder.
not a biggie but sometimes is annoying.

Re: HWInfo Per CCD temperature.
The people over HWInfo apparently have that documentation. Isn't AMD providing all that to developers?
Here's a video showing both HWInfo and Coretemp. You can see how different CPU(Tdie) reports temps. Not huge but it seems to show spikes while the CCDs remain cooler.

HWInfo Per CCD temperature.
The latest HWInfo today includes per CCD temperature sensors.
Now I feel I want that in coretemp.

Re: AMD Ryzen Support
This happens consistently.
After a while CoreTemp displays a crazy temperature on the max. Sometimes around 250 and sometimes around -250

Wow apparently it has >1300 critical path monitors. and a myriad of other sensors.

Re: AMD Ryzen Support
Will coretemp eventually be able to read per core temperatures? Just so I know if I should wait for it or not.

That worked
thanks!
Ahh!..BTW. The tray icons keep shuffling themselves on each run.

Re: AMD Ryzen Support
For some reason I cannot see values on the mobile app after upgrading to the latest version.
I can see status though, so at least I know when the cat turned the machine on.
Also have VNC so I can see and control the machine.

Re: AMD Ryzen Support
Yes that was part of a thread, I asked someone a bit earlier to test his board with a professional oscilloscope for peaks. After that I just got curious and wanted at least to know the actual voltages on my board. Turns out nothing matches in any software with the actual voltage. Now, someone sugges...

Re: AMD Ryzen Support
If this serves for any info: I actually probed the CPU vcore from the chip itself. 4Ghz: 40x multiplier - 1.375V vcore setting - LLC4 At idle: BIOS and HWinfo = 1.375V CPUz = mostly 1.352 (and jumps up to 1.373 and is all around the place) Multimeter = 1.38V At load: HWinfo = 1.362V (stable) CPUz = ...

oh! thank you. that did it. So i could connect everything (port forwarding and all) and the Staus is "Online" and when I click on the item I see, processor, Freq, Votls, RAM....but none displays anything, no numbers after these fields. oh, i have the lite version, for some reason The store...

Re: AMD Ryzen Support
You can set it as low as 100ms and it would use the same CPU as 500ms or more, basically no CPU usage (I see 0% and occasional 0.2 and 0.3%) HWinfo takes up to 1.3% CPU sometimes and 0.5% most of the time with a whopping 2000ms polling rate.

Re: AMD Ryzen Support
Well, I can still use Coretemp and open HWinfo only when I need to check on something. I don't wanna use them both and have an over 1.5% CPU usage just on sensors. :) I just think is very useful to be able to see Fan speeds (while OCing you're always a bit paranoid about temps), I have them very low...

Re: AMD Ryzen Support
TheCoolest. Would it too much to ask for Fan sensors too in a future update? I would love to switch back to CoreTemp provided the individual temps are visible in the future (also in the main window). But I grew found of HWInfo, not only because it reports many things but also the Fan speeds. Would b...

Yes that's right. The Coolest wrote:Right, now all we need to see is HWinfo on a non-X CPU.
Looks like Tdie is the same as Tctl without the offset.

Re: AMD Ryzen Support
Maybe his "Hardware Monitor" is not reporting the right temps to start with. I would only take HWInfo as the most reliable source. It matches the newest RyzenMaster and the newest AI Suite in my X370 Pro with BIOS 0604 HWInfo reports pretty much everything right. I have no idea how did the...

Re: AMD Ryzen Support
Works here, however I can't see all cores temps in the window, only in the taskbar if i enable them all, and they're all the same, i assume each core should have a different temp. Also all the multipliers are the same and here I'm using P-states and I see each core multiplier changes in HWinfo. So f...

Re: AMD Ryzen Support
I wrote this in another forum some days ago: I strongly believe CPUz is broken, as much as the AI suite in my PRIME X370 PRO I'll explain: CPUZ: The reading is all over the place. With an OC of 4Ghz at 1.35V I get 1.330V, 1.319V, 1.36V, 1.4V...it jumps endlessly at idle...at load it shows 1.373V HWI...
