Going to stick with RC9 till you perhaps find out what's up with the clock speed indication.

Interestingly enough, I don't even have to 'check/uncheck' the Display TjMax radio box....all I have to do after Core Temp and the gadget loads (and is showing the proper temperatures) is to open Core Temp, click on the 'Options -> Settings' tab, and hit Apply without making ANY changes, and c1, c2,...

Same deal...Core Temp installs, reboot, and hangs the whole system. After the second reboot, I nearly couldn't log in. CPU was maxed out (fan kicked into high gear).

Bummer...been using Core Temp for years..
