I will defiantly try that, though in core temp it's registering my cpu as the correct one, I know that the tj max isn't really an issue, I was more concerned as to if it could affect my temp readout as I thought 10c drop in temps was a bit too good to be true.

Would clearing the CMOS change anything?, I know the max temp of my cpu is only 70, so I'm sticking to keeping my temps at about 50 - 52 ish.

Only the motherboard, the cpu has been the same since early this year.

Then I'm confused beyond belief.

The original tim was from the manufacturer on the stock hs and according to core temp, has droppedy temps 10c.

And with the tj max, it defiantly changed with the mobo, and that's confusing.

Hey all, I'm new to the forum, but have used core temp for a while. I changed mobo recently, and noticed my tj as had jumped, on my old mobo it was 70c which is the max for my cpu, now my new mobo says its 90, what's happend?
