Re: Bluescreen on Win 8
I had a similar issue just a moment ago. I am running Windows 8 Pro x64, I had the "page fault in nonpaged area" error related to "ALSysIO64.sys". I was going to try restarting my computer to test the error again, but I found out that Core Temp was related to the issue and didn't...

Re: Balloon Popup crashes Core Temp
I might do some more testing later and see if I can figure out what is the conflict. Until then, while I don't have immediate access to a Windows XP machine, it did prompt me to do a "audio to exe converter" search. It led me to this program. http://download.cnet.com/Audio-Video-to-Exe/300...

I'll make another topic later, but it involved CoreTemp, Prime95, and a voltage increase. I would mak...

Re: how to set high temp
I might suggest adjusting the overheat protection to the specific temperature you want, then setting a balloon to popup and flash in the taskbar. That's how I have it set now. :3 I used to have it shutdown when it reached a specific temperature, but that became problematic on my old system which wou...

CPU to Graphics Rule of Thumb?
I've done a lot of research on what is the best way to upgrade a computer for gaming. With a lot of this research, I found mixed opinions. The general idea is that the graphics card should be half the cost of the machine. However, I was curious if there's a different rule of thumb to go by in order ...
