Re: Not sure if this is intended

Reporting back.

To answer the question, no, did not upgrade my CPU.

What I did to fix it was delete Core Temp's .INI file and restarted it. Now it shows all 4 cores.

Thanks! Release is stable and working so far!

Re: Not sure if this is intended

Why did (does) it work fine in RC2? I haven't changed a thing in my BIOS or OS, so not sure how this can be.

Thanks anyway.

Not sure if this is intended

CoreTemp 1.0 RC3 (which works almost completely correctly now) is only showing me two cores on my Core i7 920. The older versions always showed all 4 cores.

Is this by design or is there a secret setting I can use to get all 4 cores to show?

InstallQ

It just sits there at around 5%, doing nothing at all. I let it sit for awhile and it never moved. Tried over and over.

I just grabbed the standalone version, but thought I would let you know about the installer.

Re: Any idea on next release?

Well, after kicking it around awhile now, it is still not working. Even through a format and complete deletion of my CoreTemp 1.0 RC2 folder and re-installing it. At startup, it refuses to minimize itself. It only shows the temperature of a SINGLE core and shows it inaccurately. I am constantly havi...

Re: Any idea on next release?

Thanks for the reply.

I will try what you suggest for a couple days and see what happens.

Any idea on next release?

Or maybe a link to download previous releases? As it is now, CoreTemp is completely unusable to me. Every time I restart my machine, I have to RE-configure CoreTemp to display properly in the tool tray and the "start with windows" feature never sticks. It is also reporting incorrect temper...
