I have an ASUS TUF Gaming A15 (2022) laptop with a AMD 7 6800H CPU.
I and several others reported incorrect CPU loads with CoreTemp around Oct 15, 2022.
Have you made any progress addressing the lack if information from AMD to fix Core Temp?

Re: Ryzen 9 6900HX
I agree with Vince. I have mostly the same problems as he does. I just bought an ASUS TUF Gaming A15 (2022) laptop with an AMD Ryzen 7 6800H CPU. It has Windows 11 Home. Here is what I am seeing with the Core Temp app. Note the Load is stuck at 0% most of the time. It even stays at 0% or 1% if I run...

Re: Core Temp starts on Windows restart, but not power on
I have Core Temp installed on my desktop and laptop, both with Windows 10. It works fine on my desktop, but on my laptop, it doesn't start when the laptop is powered on, even if I try to start it manually. However, if I reboot the laptop, Core Temp starts normally. I tried removing the task from Ta...

Core Temp 1.14 hangs
Sometimes from a cold startup Core Temp 1.14 hangs. If I kill the process and try to restart Core Temp it still hangs. The only way I can get it to work is to restart Windows. When I went back to Core Temp 1.13 I did not have this problem any more. I am not sure but this behavior may have started af...

Re: Core Temp 1.11 clock changes not visible
Core Temp 1.11 CPU: Ryzen 1700X MBD: ASUS Prime X370-Pro I have similar issue. Clock frequency is stuck at maximum. If I hit refresh all cores change to a new value and is then stuck there. Actually the new value is the same but it only seems different because the bus speed dropped from 99.86 to 96....

Re: AMD Ryzen Support
Is it possible to have option to show data for threads instead of cores?
For example for Ryzen 1700X show data for 16 threads (c0-c15) instead of 8 cores (c0-c7).

Re: AMD Ryzen Support
You have to close all gadgets, kill the the gadget process, and start the Core Temp gadget first. It's possible that it's not compatible with that other one. v2.8 uses a newer backend. Read this thread, you'll see identical issues to yours. Core Temp gadget 2.8 seems to be working OK now. GadgetWor...

Re: Coretemp RC5 Freezes Windows 7 Ultimate X64
Update: Now Core Temp (64-bit) is hanging the system. It seemed to work ok for a while but now as soon as I start it the computer locks up. I am removing it until there is a resolution on this.
I now need something that will work with Windows 7 (64-bit). Anyone have any suggestions?

Re: Coretemp RC5 Freezes Windows 7 Ultimate X64
I just reinstalled Windows 7 going from 32-bit to 64-bit. I just installed Core Temp using the latest installer "coretemp_1236.exe". Whenever I try to run it my computer locks up. I tried again by just running Core Temp from the 64-bit zip file "CoreTemp64.zip". This works fine. ...
