Re: Xeon D support?

After some time spent in Paint..... Take a look :)

I tried to keep the GUI style, and it seems it's pretty good :)

The only thing is the former TDP fiels, it should be filled with something else in my case :?:

Re: Xeon D support?

I think it shouldn't be very difficult to add that value, I just never really thought it would be very useful. I'll consider adding this in a future version, thanks. Performed some experiments today, sharing the result (for anyone who is interested): The reference document is "Intel® 64 and IA...

Re: Xeon D support?

Checked version 1.3 on D-1527 and D-1548, both are okay. Thank you for doing that so fast! :) I have another suggestion for discussion: in fact, there are two "energy values in joules" available for any Intel CPU via MSR values. The first is generally a computing core consumed energ...

Re: Clock Speed Broken with v1.1

Thanks! RC06 had an issue where it could cause the PC to hang in certain situations when trying to detect the FSB speed. I fixed it in the later builds, but it seems that in other certain situation, it makes Core Temp calculate the frequency incorrectly. I'll have to work on it some more. Downloade...

Re: Clock Speed Broken with v1.1

Please post a register dump from v1.1 so I can take a look and see if I can find what the problem with clock speed is. I want to confirm the problem with clock misdetection exists. Run the R12 at home, on 4790K. The FSB is detected incorrectly, but it has different values each time the tool is star...

Re: Xeon D support?

Thank you!

In future I'll get the boards with D-1567 and Pentium D1508 & D1517, and will check them too.

Xeon D support?

Hi! The CoreTemp tool seems to be alive after a long standby period... That's great! :D The latest 1.2 version claimed to have Intel Xeon CPUs supported, but it seems to me some models are still missing. I have two Xeon D based systems nearby, D-1527 and D-1548, they are not detected properly. I'm s...

Intel Atom E6xx series support

Hello, CoreTemp Author(s), Do you have plans to support Intel Atom E6xx series (codenamed Tunnel Creek) CPUs? The latest CoreTemp 1.0RC1 version correctly reports Delta to Tjmax, CPUID and Frequency, nothing more :) I have a board for testing, it contains E660T CPU, and I can provide a register dump...
