I thought the random crashes I've been experiencing were due to power supply changes but I can't reproduce it.
I'll get back when I have more information.

I see in the Change Log that previous version (0.99.7.10) has this fix:
Fix: Core Temp may crash on systems when switching between power supplies (wall/battery) or exiting sleep/hibernation mode.
But this his happening again on actual version (Vaio VPCSA, Windows 7 x64)
