IT IS that good, Scythe Infinity/Ninja/Mine and some more coolers also. And I didn't observe temps BELOW ambient on any of E4300/E6300. Instead I can observe ambient with very precise lab digital thermometer and it's ALWAYS lower than core 0/1, CPU/SYS (whatever it means) or HDDs through SMART. Reg...

Quick "delta to Tjunction" readout question
Hey thecoolest, great app. :) I see you've added the "delta to Tjunction" readout option which is great but if you've got a sec can you answer a quick question? Is the "delta to Tjunction" value a direct reading of the DTS and it's proximity to the throttle point or is it still a...

Re: Incorrect Temps on C2D L2 in v.0.95
Is it any Intel document stating it straight and clear? Nobody knows it for sure. A lot of people believe, that when E4xx ARE Allendales, E6300/6400 ARE NOT, being simple Conroes with the half of the cache disabled. I'm talking about the L2 revision of the Core2Duo. The new L2 E6300 and E6400 are A...

Re: Incorrect Temps E6300 Rev. L2
I think this is due to Coretemp being fooled into setting Tjunction to 100, rather than 85, which I believe is correct for the L2 stepping of the E6300 However, because it is also an Allendale, like the E4300, the latest .95 update to coretemp may have caused the problem. I suppose you have to ask ...

Re: Incorrect Temps on C2D L2 in v.0.95
First of all I appreciate the idea & the work done on Core Temp. Thanks. But I've to say, that on L2 revision Core 2 Duo chips version 0.95 of Core Temp is incorrect. I've tested it on several boards (Abit AB9, Asus P5B-E) and several L2 rev. processors (E4300, E6300), starting on nominal multi...
