Well how cold is it outside(ambient temperture) ? looks like some impressive cooling. 40C load sounds about right for a core 2 duo. Dells generally put a huge heatsink in their products lol. Thats my temperature on idle with my bedroom window opened, normally it's about 18*C-20*C idle, max 39*C under full load with Prime95 / ORTHOS.

Machine is a Dell XPS 710. TAT shows the same temperatures. Are these right?

Had my window wide open, managed to drop my temps to this.. normally its 18*C for Core 0 and 17*C for Core 1 on idle, highest ive had it go was 39*C core 0 / 35*C core 1... is that normal?
