I'll take your word for it, since I don't understand anything you said, sorry...
I'll just have to assume that if the temperature gets anywhere near my 185 degree F max, I'm in trouble!
Thanks for trying to explain,
Kity

Re: tiny bug
Here's my first try and I think I've got it now. Just a pic of the Core Temp Display before removing the checkmark from Settings/Advanced/DisplayTheDistanceToTJMaxInTemperatureFields. The second shot is how the display looks after I remove the checkmark from DisplayTheDistanceToTJMaxInTemperatureFie...

Re: tiny bug
Went to http://www.imgur.com, but the first thing it did was ask ME to type in a url. The image is on my hard drive, not on the net, so how can I give them a url? Sorry, can you be a little more explicit, as I'm having a devil of a time trying to figure this out!

Re: tiny bug
My processor is Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 CPU 6600@2.40 GHz 239 GHz, 4 GB Ram, WIN XP Pro. Can you give me slightly more specific instructions as to how to get a saved image to appear on this board, as I'm not sure I quite understand how to deal with pasting the image saved on my hard drive between the tw...

Re: Where Is Core Temp Installed???
Thank you. If I ever need to uninstall it, I will simply delete both the Core Temp.exe and Core Temp(2).exe files (there is one Core Temp.exe file in each of the two folders unzipped), but one is titled Core Temp(2).exe.
I trust that this will do it.

Re: tiny bug
Also, how do you get the screen-shot to display in this field? I tried clicking on "Img" but it didn't work.

Re: tiny bug
Hi, when I unchecked "Display the distance to TJ Max in Temperature Fields", under "Settings/Advanced", I noticed my temperature readings immediately went way up, and they were still registering backwards! Am I complying properly with your instructions?
Thanx,

Re: Where Is Core Temp Installed???
I found the .exe file in the zip folder I downloaded, which is on my desktop. How would I uninstall Core Temp if I needed to??? I don't see any "uninstall" file listed there! I'm afraid I don't know what a "0" based index system is? Sounds very technical, (lol)! Thanx for any hel...

Re: Where Is Core Temp Installed???
P.S. - I would also like to know why the two temperature readings in my tray refer to "Core 0" and "Core 1". How can there be a "Core 0"? Shouldn't they be referring to Core 1 and Core 2???
Thanks again,
Kity

Where Is Core Temp Installed???
I can't locate the folder to which Core Temp has been targeted! I've looked under program files on my C Drive Tree, and in the Start Menu, Add/Remove programs has no listing for it, I did a search for it on my C Drive, and it only shows up on my desktop, from which I installed it after downloading i...
