There's no ETA, there are still things that need to be done.
But as long as the current build works for you, it should be fine to use.

Re: Option for 1.19.4
Yes, it was an error in the build, it doesn't affect functionality.
You can download it again, I fixed the version.

Can you please attach a screenshot and a register dump from this system? It's in the Tools menu.

Re: Option for 1.19.4
Oh, I see.
That is currently not planned. You can right click on the frequency fields to see individual cores and select the specific core you want to see, or the highest frequency one.
It is a context menu, so will only be visible until you click elsewhere on your screen.

Re: Option for 1.19.4
You can configure it all in Options --> Settings --> Notification Area.
You can set it to show the highest temp.
And you can configure it to also show the frequency, ram, etc.

Re: Processor Info not correct when processor not found in device manager
You're correct. 1.18.1 always shows the highest frequency of all the cores.
Selecting specific core or "highest" is coming in the next version.

Re: CoreTemp for Windows 11 ARM64?
Hi and welcome.
Core Temp is currently x86 only.
I plan to look into ARM support sometime in the future, but there is no ETA right now.

I updated the file with a new build, so re-download it.
It should now work and display core temps too.

I uploaded a new build (same URL). It should now remove the TjMax distance sensors.
So things should look OK in the tray.

Re: Incorrect frequency readings and no Temps reported on 9950x
You can right-click the frequency fields to see per-core frequency. Core Temp displays the highest core's frequency by default. I think that CPU-z defaults to Core 0, but I haven't checked that in a while. Same with voltage. With this version you will see the highest vcore among all the cores in the...

Ok, that's what I thought.
This version is still a pre-release, not everything is finalized yet.
I'll update when I've got a new build to test.

Re: Incorrect BCLK frequency on Intel platforms
I think that there's a "bug" in Intel with this new version, because Core Temp now looks at the "TjMax distance" too, and that may be the reason for the high temp in the tray. Try changing it back to individual sensors and see if you can find the 167F one. Hover the mouse over it...

Re: Core temp not working
Are you using the latest version? Can you still see the Core Temp taskbar button? Did you check that the icons are not hidden?
Is the Core Temp.exe process running if you check in Task Manager?
When did this issue start? Did this problem follow an update install or some other OS or hardware change?

Re: AMD 7840U laptop BSOD when attempting to launch CoreTemp 1.18.1
Thanks. I think now I have a good idea where the issue is.
The issue is in the driver, and will require a bit of a rework to sort it out, so I can't provide an ETA.
I'll keep you updated when I've got something new to test.

Correct. Information about these registers are not publicly available.
If/when I find how to access this information, it will become available in the program UI.

Re: AMD 7840U laptop BSOD when attempting to launch CoreTemp 1.18.1
Do you still, by any chance, have the windows dump file from this crash?
Or would you be willing to recreate the crash to generate a dump? I'm trying to understand what's the root cause of this crash.
